What can I expect from a class?
Each class (general fitness or perinatal) consists of a warm-up, cardio exercises,
circuit training/strengthening, and cool-down/stretching.  Outdoor postnatal
stroller classes allows you to bring your baby in his/her stroller which
you will use during cardio and strengthening exercises.   
Zumba fitness classes include a warm-up,
dance based cardio, and a cool-down component.   

What if I am not in shape or haven't worked out in a while?
All fitness levels are welcome to join any class (including those who have
never worked out)!  The purpose of each class is to help you gain a new
level of fitness to help you be at your healthiest.  Classes are designed for the novice to the
advanced, by incorporating exercises that can be modified to any
fitness level.  

Why do I need my doctor's clearance for perinatal classes?
Your health and the health of your baby  is important to us.  If your doctor
has concerns about your ability to exercise safely....we need to know.  
Please print and send your doctor our medical clearance form or have
them sign their own.

What do I need to bring to class?
Please wear clothing and shoes that are appropriate for exercise (ie.
tennis shoes, etc).  Bring a water bottle, a towel, and a yoga or exercise
mat.  For Jump + Abs class please bring your jump rope.  If you are
attending a perinatal class don't forget a snack for your baby or a
snack for you if you are pregnant, and hat/sunblock (if attending an
outdoor perinatal class).   If you are attending a stroller class, most
strollers are acceptable except for umbrella strollers or any
other stroller than can easily tip over.  

How old does my baby need to be to bring them to class?
We recommend that your baby is at least 6 weeks old to begin any
postnatal class.  They can take classes up to any age as long as they still
enjoy being in a stroller or carrier.  If you child becomes fussy, don't worry
it's sometimes expected!

How do I register for a class session?
Go to the Fitness page (Perinatal or Adult) and click on the class you are interested in.
Use the drop-down arrow to register for multiple classes or one class at a time.  You
can use any Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or PayPal
card. Online registration must be received before or on the day of the class.   

How do I know when classes are cancelled?
You will be previously informed of any classes that are cancelled.
Outdoor classes are cancelled in the case of severe or unsafe weather,
such as lighting or heat warnings.  If severe weather arises, you will
receive an email or text to inform you of the cancellation.  Updates on
Facebook and Twitter can also be found.
